Winter Time Lake Views

This view is directly down the slope to the lake from the back deck.  Time is winter.

This area is a passage behind what the locals call "Goat Island".  If you have a shallow draft, go-devil, or air boat you can traverse to the right into the entry canal to Wingate's.  Most folks just take the marked channel around the island and to the right.  The island offers privacy from general boat traffic, great views, excellent fishing and duck hunting.  Watching the season's change over the water is a treat.

This is a wide view looking from the deck out to Lake Seminole in the winter. You can still see some of the cove water area behind the holly tree and the pines on Goat island further out.
